The recently restored house enjoys beautiful panoramic views and is just minutes from the historic center of the village of Pergine Valdarno, which can also be reached on foot.
La Casuccia is an independent house that is part of the farm of the same name that produces wine and extra virgin olive oil.
We are in the heart of the Tuscan region, in a beautiful and very authentic area, and strategic to reach all the most popular destinations of our famous region.
Here you can relax surrounded by nature, but you can also decide to meet and get to know local people simply by going to the bar to have breakfast or to have an aperitif in the afternoon, you can experience moments of daily life in contact with the local community!

Interior Description

House with independent entrance, fenced garden and private pool just outside the little hamlet of Pergine Valdarno (last 700m are on a gravel road).
From the private parking area, you enter from a lovely driveway to the house's pergola with outdoor table and furniture for your outdoor meals or to relax in the shade during the hottest hours of the day.
From the entrance hall you enter the kitchen on the right, and then two bedrooms* with a full bathroom with shower (no AC on the ground floor). To the left, past the entrance, is the dining room and large, bright living room with a terrace with a breathtaking view of the back side of the house, and on the other, a French window overlooking the pergola and outdoor table at the entrance.
From the living room you go up to the second floor to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (low ceilings) and AC, and a lovely glass-enclosed terrace, where you will find a sofa to read a book or to chill as you enjoy the beautiful scenery!

The initial deposit required to confirm a reservation to be paid at the time of booking (unless there are special conditions in place) is 25% of the total rent amount.

The balance is due 45 days before arrival.

For last-minute bookings (within 45 days of arrival) the full amount must be paid at the time of the booking.

In case of cancellation of the booking, even if it is substituted by another one, the following penalties apply:
- the initial deposit (25% of total rent) if the cancellation is made between booking time up to 46 days before arrival date;
- 100% of total rental price if the cancellation is made from 45 days to arrival date or in case of no show.

The family who owned the villa really made us feel welcome and were very kind. Although we enjoyed our stay there were a few things that would have made our stay perfect.
The bedroom upstairs, the bathroom would have been perfect If moved to where the spare bed was located. This reason is the height wasn’t high enough and we kept banging our heads.
The sofa had a big tear in it that wasn’t nice to see especially as the room was lovely it spoilt the look of it.
The gardens needed to be kept short due to the bites we all received! And some of the sun beds were broken. We were not also aware the owners actually lived below and we were conscious of how late we sat outside for in the evenings!
That said we would happily return if these minor details were corrected.

Die Schlüsselübergabe war sehr unkompliziert. Die Verwalterin Irene und auch die Hausbesitzer sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und man findet alles was man benötigt. Der Garten ist groß und gepflegt. Man fühlt sich zwischen den Olivenbäumen in der Toskana angekommen. Der Pool ist sauber. Der Garten und die sehr große Terrasse haben Sonne und Schatten, perfekt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und danken den tollen Menschen für die Gastfreundschaft!!! Das Restaurant des Hausbesitzers, in der Nähe, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-))

The house is very clean and you can find everything you need. The garden is large and well-kept. You feel like you have arrived in Tuscany among the olive trees. The pool is clean. The garden and the very large terrace have sun and shade, perfect! We felt very comfortable and thank the great people for their hospitality!!! The house owner's restaurant, nearby, is highly recommended. We will definitely come back :-))

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine à la Casuccia, grande maison, bien équipée, au beau milieu des oliviers.
La piscine est très appréciable pour se rafraichir.
Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre voyage en Toscane, de plus la maison est idéalement située entre Sienne et Arezzo, un peu plus loin de Florence (1H de trajet en voiture) cela reste tout même raisonnable.
Séjour d'une semaine à 6 personnes (4 Adultes et 2 enfants)

We loved this well-appointed villa with 3 well-appointed bedrooms, a nicely outfitted kitchen, lovely views and pool with outdoor shower. It is secluded and off the beaten track on the edge of a quaint little town with a great restaurant and a cafe. Florence and Sienna are within an hours drive.
